About The Somaiya School
Somaiya Vidyavihar was founded in 1959 by Padmabhushan (late) Shri K. J. Somaiya with the aim of creating great citizens of India. Those that know how to make a living, and more importantly, also know how to live.Somaiya Vidyavihar and the Somaiya Trust also manage schools in rural Maharashtra and Karnataka. The Somaiya School will be our first English Medium School in Mumbai.Somaiya Vidyavihar has about 32,000 students on all its campuses. The institutions in Mumbai are spread across 2 main campuses: a 50 acre campus in Vidyavihar, and a 35 acre campus in Sion-Chunabhatti.

Meet the Admissions Team: Connect with school admissions officer (or coordinator) to discuss eligibility criteria, application timelines, and any grade-specific requirements.

Gather Application Materials: Collect the official admission form and a checklist of required documents (e.g., birth certificate, previous school records, proof of address, etc.).
Understand Assessment/Interview Procedures: If applicable, schedule any entrance assessment or informal meeting with faculty to evaluate the student’s aptitude and fit.
Submit Documentation & Fees: Once the completed form and supporting documents are verified, parents can remit the prescribed admission fee (if any) and secure the student’s seat.
Confirm Enrollment: After payment, you will receive confirmation of admission along with details on orientation dates, uniform guidelines, and the academic calendar.
The Somaiya School Required Documents
Online Registration of Application on school website thesomaiyaschool.org. Registration number on form is important; please preserve the same till admission process is complete
Submission of Form (hard copy) with DD of Rs.1000/- Registration fees, in School admin office, within stipulated time.
Nursery admissions are through lottery, admin office will issue offer letters to selected students after lottery draw.
On producing proof of payment Admission Kit will be issued by Admin office.
Submission of Admission kit with relevant required documents mentioned there in within stipulated time.
All decisions taken by the management regarding admission will be final.
