In more than 127 years long career span, DAV learners have emerged as leaders in their chosen fields as Nobel laureates, Prime Ministers, scientists, sports persons, defense personnel, movie actors, media persons, CEO’s, making meaningful contributions to the economic as well as social development of India. It has contributed to nation-building by pioneering private initiative in education. Today, DAV College Managing Committee is the largest non-government organization in the field of education in India. It was registered under the Societies Act of 1860, as well as the same year the first DAV School was established at Lahore with Mahatma Hansraj as the Honorary Headmaster. Dayanand Anglo Vedic (DAV) Trust as well as Management Society came into existence in 1886 to realize the prophetic vision of the great philosopher Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.
