Of NCT of Delhi on 3/10/1996 but later on it was upgraded to Secondary Level on 7/4/1998 under NCT of Delhi with recognition No. After a span of one year it was recognised up to Middle Level by Directorate of Education, Govt. Rao, IAS, then Director of Primary Education in MCD Education Department. V.P. Education Department, Kashmere Gate, Delhi in 1995 with the blessings of Sh. Initially Sona Public School was a Primary School recognised by M.C.D. Yadav, then Principal, Rajdhani College, Delhi University. B.S. The school is a co- educational institution since 1/4/1993 although the foundation of the school was laid down on 23/3/1993 by Dr. Sona Public School is situated at Street No.9, Samaipur, Delhi-110042.
