Alpha International School Admission Procedure
1. Meet the Admissions Team: Connect with school admissions officer (or coordinator) to discuss eligibility criteria, application timelines, and any grade-specific requirements.
2. Tour the Facilities: Walk through classrooms, laboratories, playgrounds, and other key amenities to get a firsthand understanding of the learning environment and infrastructure.
3. Gather Application Materials: Collect the official admission form and a checklist of required documents (e.g., birth certificate, previous school records, proof of address, etc.).
4. Understand Assessment/Interview Procedures: If applicable, schedule any entrance assessment or informal meeting with faculty to evaluate the students aptitude and fit.
5. Submit Documentation & Fees: Once the completed form and supporting documents are verified, parents can remit the prescribed admission fee (if any) and secure the students seat.
6. Confirm Enrollment: After payment, you will receive confirmation of admission along with details on orientation dates, uniform guidelines, and the academic calendar.
Alpha International School Required Documents
A student must have completed 2.5 years of age for Nursery, 5.5 years of age for Admission to Grade I by 31st May and satisfy the relevant age criteria for admission to successive higher classes. Application form can be collected from the admissions officer at the school office or can be downloaded from the school website. However, the submission of the same has to be done personally along with the required documents specified in the application form. The application form has to be submitted within a week s time else a new application form has to be bought again. A week after submitting the application form, the date of interview/entrance test will be scheduled and informed to the parents over the phone. Students seeking admission for classes from Grade II upwards are required to appear for a written test and the interview after the test. In case students are living abroad or outside Chennai and are unable to attend the interview/ entrance test on the date scheduled, parents may request for time and ensure that they attend on the rescheduled date without fail. Students coming from schools following CBSE / ICSE / State Board or any other international curriculum may be admitted on the strength of their transfer certificate countersigned by the authorities of the educational board concerned. A satisfactory report of the performance in the previous school, along with their performance in the entrance test is essential for admission. Parents will be informed about the selection / confirmation of seat on the day of the interview or within five working days and will be given a week s time to pay the fee and confirm admission. If the admission is not confirmed by the parent within the stipulated time, the seat will be forfeited. The student has to complete all three admission formalities - 1. submission of all documents 2. Selection in the interview and 3. Payment of fees before the admission is confirmed. Admission is subject to availability of seats in the particular class, and is at the school s discretion.
